Summary

I'm from Whitefish Bay, WI, and I am currently a student studying Economics and Biochemistry at DePauw University.  I am a member of the Varsity Swim Team, the University Orchestra, Management Fellows, and the Information Technology Associates Program.  My interests include International Finance, German, and British History. 

I hope to obtain an internship with a financial institution, and then move into financial services or hospital administration.

DePauw University

During my time with the Information Technology Associates Program, I learned web design utilizing HTML and CSS computer languages and utilized these skills to design multi-page websites. I have used Final Cut Pro to refine raw camera footage into finished video.

When I worked in the tech center, I learned computer imaging techniques, installed desktop computers for the administration and maintained a set of printers.  In addition, I worked at the help desk, dealing with customer service and support, taking calls, and analyzing the various needs of users

I then had a rotation in the Geographic Information Systems office, where I utilized ARCGIS software and Google Earth to create maps and analyze geospatial relationships

I  was a lifeguard in both indoor and outdoor settings, and have helped coordinate events between the aquatics department and food service for various events.

Stock Trading and Portfolio Management

When I turned 18, I began to manage my own financial portfolio, including an online equities trading account.  I enjoy learning about different investment possibilities, and follow various securities on my own.

Adobe Dreamweaver

During my time as a Web Authoring Associate, I was instructed in web design, where the primary medium of construction was Adobe Dreamweaver.  I utilized HTML and Cascading Style Sheets in my design.

Microsoft Office

I have worked extensively with the Microsoft Office Suite. My Financial Accounting and Intermediate Macroeconomics courses were taught largely using Microsoft Excel. I worked with PowerPoint and Word on a number of papers and projects. Homework involved intensive spreadsheet manipulation, including formulas and advanced functions, and the creation of graphs, which were then transferred and presented in Microsoft Word.
