Assisted with the re-opening of the passenger train company under new management. Set up files, created spreadsheets to track budgets, payments & deposits for tours, inventory. Contacted vendors, requested pricing, set up order forms. Requested applications for liquor license in 24+ states. 

Supported VP of Operations and Director of Operations with day-to-day activities.

Due to economy, owner decided to not finish the project.

Interviewed caterers, entertainment, researched venues, created themes, invitations & decorated. Recruited & managed volunteers to help with event. 

Purchasing - 

Purchased office supplies for 130+ employees and managed equipment repair.Administrative Assistant to VP of Operations - Organized files and phone messages, handled mail and customer service correspondence. Mailroom supervisor Supervised 6 people, mailing out brochures, handled incoming and outgoing mail, shipped out trade show supplies.

Customer Service Representative Handled customer transactions - transfers, redemptions andpurchases.Receptionist Answered phones, greeted visitors, organized visitor area, stocked kitchen.Some of these positions overlapped so I was multi-tasking daily.

Due to company being sold to Dreyfus, job was to be eliminated.
