Sanborn Regional High School Library

Established a user-centered approach to information literacy by transforming a good library into a resource rich learning commons and online learning lab.

-Google Apps for Education administrator

-Instruct students and faculty on effective and ethical online research skills

-Integrate information technology into the curriculum through collaboration

-Provide professional development training to the SAU faculty establishing online scholarly research and embedding online lessons into traditional lectures

-Oversee district school librarians in establishing a K-12 scope and sequence for integrating information literacy skills into the curriculum

-Redesign the library website and establish an interactive online presence using Joomla and XML, digital image sharing, Turnitin, and LibGuides

-Reader advisory for students and faculty including weekly professional articles via Twitter and Scoop.It

-Communicate usage data and new tools and resources to stakeholders via newsletters, library reports, and electronic resources

-Began the Online Newsstand at high school libraries across NH to allow easier access to digital media for students and faculty. There are currently 20 school libraries in NH participating.

-Collaborate with the facilities management team on major library redesign
