About Paul Stanford

Paul Stanford has served as the president of The Hemp & Cannabis Foundation (THCF) since August of 1999. In his role as president, he is responsible for overseeing operations at medical marijuana clinics in 10 states. Under his guidance, clinics assist local residents in meeting requirements for their state’s medical marijuana permits. Since its establishment more than a decade ago, THCF has provided support to over 100,000 patients. Paul Stanford has continued to search for growth opportunities for the organization, and THCF now produces a live weekly television show called Cannabis Common Sense. Viewers can catch up on more than 500 past episodes through YouTube, while new episodes air on cable TV.

With THCF, Mr. Stanford is also accountable for the printing and publishing of Hemp News, a newspaper that has featured an online counterpart since 1991. His work has been recognized by a number of industry groups, earning Oregon Medical Cannabis awards. In 2008, Mr. Stanford took home the top three prizes for his Lemon Pledge, Trainwreck, and Dynamite strains.
