Dr. Keough laid the foundation for his career at The State University of New York, Stonybrook, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. A standout student, he won several awards at the institution, including the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (URECA) Award, subsequently continuing his education at Northwestern University. He earned both a Master of Science in Biochemistry and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biophysical Biochemistry at Northwestern University. Paul Keough launched his career as a financial analyst in 1998, focusing on the health care and technology industries for the next decade. Paul Keough performed analyses, forecasting, and research on behalf of Wells Fargo Securities and the Wolverine Venture Fund. Keough also worked on his Master of Business Administration during this time, graduating from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. The Wolverine Venture Fund won the National Student Venture Capitalist Award during his time as a student at the business school.
