A franchise-based private English academy, which operates throughout South Korea. My workplace was in Buk-gu, South Korea and operated with a client-base of 150+ students. There were four teachers, including myself, and an owner/manager.

-I developed ways to interact with different student leading to increased student retention.

-I recruited and trained my replacement teacher.-I interviewed new students and assessed skills to determine their placement.

-I created and organised class schedules and tests.

-I revised tests and conducted study groups which increased student scores by 20%.  

 -I implemented a reliable performance and reward system for 150 students.

Key Results: Improved written and conversational English skills of 150 students.

Coles Express Petrol

Coles Express Petrol is a branch of Coles Supermarkets, owned by Wesfarmers, which sells petrol, milk, bread, and supermarket items. It also sells barbecue gas bottles, convenience foods, and automotive supplies. There are more than 600 in Australia.

-I improved my sales records from 12% of 200 customers, to 28% in six months.

-I trained and mentored new staff.

-I regularly submitted ideas which improved store sales, such as expanding product range, particularly in healthier snack foods with strong potential for sales.

Key Results: Improved communication among staff by suggesting a physical area in store for associates to share information about customer orders, complaints, and maintenance repairs.

-I participated in panel interviews and learned about KEOIC recruitment

.-I interviewed relevant staff members, to understand responsibilities and skills required for their advancement and improvement

.-I developed a performance management system which was culturally sensitive and made it easier to track employee performance numerically.

Key Results: Developed a training program which was supported by employees and management and 30% under the estimated costs provided by management.
