Paul Angelides

Founder and President of Paul J Angelides PE PC, a Registered Special Inspection Agency with the New York City Department of Buildings, Paul Angelides has over 35 years of experience as a Licensed Engineer. An expert in construction quality inspection, building, fire and zoning codes, and construction contract specifications, Paul Angelides has been in full time private practice since 1987.

Paul Angelides began his career in engineering working for the Consolidated Edison Company, eventually becoming a Division Manager. This role required Mr. Angelides to inspect projects, author technical and construction contract specifications, conduct safety training, and direct and review investigations in industrial accidents and damages claims.

As president of his own subsequent private practice, Mr. Angelides has continued his work with projects including sprinkler, electrical and plumbing designs for an expansion of a New York Institute of Technology building and a re-profiling of the landmark Cyclone Roller Coaster. Mr Angelides is a Senior Member of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers, and has been called upon as an expert witness in numerous court cases.
