From my  years of experience in different industries, countries and roles. I have  gained, as person and professional, a good understanding of how businesses work. 

Team player

My "sporty DNA" has 2 main ingredients : teamwork and personal effort.  all soft skills required to excel in both are 1:1 transferable to work. I enjoy leadership, motivating, helping others do their best. Based on a good set of values such as trust, active listening and empathy.

Open-mind

Years of experience, open your mind to welcome change and to consider new situations and other´s  views not as a threat but as a positive opportunity to learn, create and grow as a person and professional.

Exposure to other cultures (USA, North and South EU, India, China & South America) has set the grounds for me to have a good understanding and approach to new cultures.

Problem solving

based on my experience, I consider the key to find the right solution: the understanding that problems are to be approached differently whilst analizing de available data, applying critical thinking and a bit of creativity. My business acumen and exposure to different cultures has given me the patience and tools to find the correct approach to each situation. 

Communication

good listening skills and empathy are the base for a good communication. Asking  the right questions, honesty and summarizing areas of agreement are a good base for understanding.

IT

Even though I do not consider myself a "techy". I have enjoyed working as a Consultant & Sales in the IT industry. Besides this experience in my role as finance manager I have taken active part in the IT strategy and implementation of systems and methodologies.

Professionally, I have always been involved in proactive roles in the fields of finance, sales, purchase and business development. That is, just reporting but actually doing something about it and assess, provide a service and coach other areas regarding the economic impact of their actions. I have also specialized in Cost improvement measures having taken active part in most of the steps of its implementation. From philosophy to negotiation, implementation, team building training and management.

My personal  experience and exposure to other cultures has set a very good understanding and approach to new environments. I have developed very good listening and comprehension skills, which have proven to be very valuable to avoid misunderstandings and maximize the synergies provided by the different cultures. I have managed multicultural teams and negotiated with more than 4 cultures taking part in the same negotiation. In an ever growing globalized world, I am sure this skill will probe very important.

Always interested in a long term relationship, I describe myself as a very positive person, hard worker, entrepreneur and at the same time very analytical and responsible in taking decisions. Adapting myself very easily to new environments and not just being a “team player” but enjoying creating and leading teams are also two of my main personal core values. The adrenaline rush involved in assuming high levels of responsibility motivates and takes out the best of me.
