Due to my open Mind and international experience I have been involved with several companies from different industries opening new markets and establishing a sustainable business Models / operations. 

Proactive Finance - Cost Optimization & Business Modeling

During the last 18 I have always been involved in proactive Finance. That is, just just reporting but actually doing something about it and assess, provide a service and coach other areas regarding the economic impact of their actions. I have also specialized in Cost improvement measures having taken active part in most of the steps of its implementation. From philosophy to negotiation , implementation , team building training and management. Business Modeling and the required analysis and measures in order to improve or make a business "fly" has been one of my core expertise during the last 6 years.    

IT

  Even though I do not consider myself a "techy", the last 2 years I have worked as a Consultant + Sales of a Software Company, which makes puts me close to such a description. Besides this last experience in my role as finance manager I have taken active part in the IT strategy and implementation of systems and methodologies.     

Multilingual

  I have been raised in Spanish and Catalan. I am married to a wonderful German Woman. I lived 5 years in the UK, 1 year in the US, 1 year in Germany, spent my Hols in France quite often and I am keen in learning new languages.

International experince

My personal, Work and life, experience and exposure to other cultures (USA, North and South EU, India, China & South America) has set a very good understanding and approach to several cultures. I have developed very good listening and comprehension skills, which have proven to be very valuable to avoid misunderstandings and maximize the synergies provided by the different cultures. I have managed multicultural teams and negotiated with more than 4 cultures sitting in the same negotiation. In an ever growing globalised world I expect this Skill to become more and more important.
