About  Patrick Foulis

Serving a prominent international news magazine since 2011, Patrick Foulis holds responsibilities as New York bureau chief and U.S. business editor. Patrick Foulis focuses on finance, business, and economics across the globe, and has particular knowledge of U.S. and Asian issues.

Mr. Foulis initially served as finance correspondent and banking editor with the magazine. Over a period of two years, he was based in London and covered the fallout of the Eurozone and sub-prime financial crises. He and four other staff members received the Gerard Loeb award for their reporting on these topics.

Mr. Foulis next moved to India and focused on creating a Mumbai-based editorial bureau. As India business editor from 2011 to 2014, he wrote about diverse topics, from India’s onion farming sector to the country’s overall economic trajectory. He also undertook in-depth reporting on business leaders such as Mukesh Ambani and Ratan Tata. Patrick Foulis maintains an active professional profile as an Edinburgh Judge with the Gerard Loeb Awards.
