A former member of the Board of Directors of the Arizona State Physicians Association, Patrick S. Chang, MD, also holds membership with the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. Rated “Top Doc” in internal medicine by Phoenix Magazine on four occasions, Dr. Chang founded his practice in 1995. In addition to tending to the needs of his patients, Dr. Chang has acted as a Proctor to medical students and nurse practitioner students at the University of Phoenix and Midwestern University since 2006. From 2000 to 2004, Patrick S. Chang, MD, sat on the faculty of Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona, as Chair of the Contract Committee, Chair of the Internal Medicine Department, and Chair of the Contract Subcommittee. Other former roles include Clinical Assistant Professor at Midwestern University in Glendale, University of Arizona, and Proctor at Arizona State University.Patrick S. Chang, MD, holds a Doctor of Medicine from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside. Dr. Chang completed an internship, residency, and fellowship at Maricopa Medical Center, Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, and Oregon Health Science University, respectively. A Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine re-certified in 2005, Dr. Chang resides in Chandler, Arizona, and maintains the Palo Verde Clinic PLLC. Outside of developing healthy solutions for patients and supervising the education of students, Patrick S. Chang, MD, pursues a number of hobbies. An avid traveler, he also enjoys reading biographies, studying economics, and jogging.
