Overview

    I have over 15 years of experience in the hospitality/service industry with a bulk of this experience coming from working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects. I also have extensive experience working in retail sales, real estate brokerage, and consumer banking.  By working in these types of environments I have learned that I must be well-organized, show initiative, pay attention to detail, and be a reliable team player.

Bar Manager

Cape Fear Country Club
  • Oversaw the day-to-day operations of restaurant bars and special event banquet bars
  • Duties included employee training, daily bar set-up and breakdown, coordinating and overseeing large bar staff for special events, employee scheduling, and monthly inventory reports
  • Worked closely with beverage representatives to construct ever changing wine and cocktail menu
  • Implemented front of house ordering outlines and training manuals for cocktail and bar staff
  • Performed all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage ordering for every area of the club (restaurant, bars, banquets, pool, fine dining, half-way house and 19th hole).

Relationship Banker

Objective

    I have recently graduated "Magna Cum Laude" from East Carolina University with a BSBA and a concentration in Business Management in May of 2013. I have already been accepted to ECU's College of Business MBA program. I plan on keeping my career choices open. My true aspirations lie in the field general management, but I am well aware that such ambitions often require substantial education and valuable "real-world" experience, which is why I will pursue an MBA and am presently receptive to many career options. I have genuine interests in many sectors of the business world, which may be why I gravitate towards general management, as it often requires capacity in a diverse array of business disciplines.
