Put fright away from the assembly line
Worked on an assembly line and worked as a material handler. Debbie staffing let go of most of their temps but kept me and a few others. Have been working for Debbie Staffing for a couple of weeks now. I think they are slowing down. Looking for some full time work.
Assembled door frames.
Set up the dish machine in the morning. Get dishes done, some food prep in the afternoon. special jobs, cleaning, anything they want me to do All they have to do is tell me and I would get it done.
We have several customers, cut lawns, trim bushes, edge drive ways, weed eat, clean, cut trees, and make the customer happy.
Take tires off old cars and recycle the gas. We put the old tires in a truck to be shipped. We save the good ones. The rims are stacked on a pallet to be shipped.
We unload 56 trucks and put all the freight onthe dock. We have bays with different locations. Then we start reloading the trucks in order. Some have 10 stops, others have 18 stops. Its critical to load them in the right order.
I started out running machines. Taking parts out, cutting off the excess plastic. Then getting them ready for packing. Some people pack their own and some didn't. I got promoted to Quality Control. My job consist of counting and checking parts for defects. I took several parts back to the Q.A room. Then proceeded to check for weight, length, and measurements.
This was a lumber yard. Helping people with their orders, was my best quality. Trucks would come in with different sizes of lumber and some metal doors. I would unload them and put the products away. I would pull oders for the next day and stage them under the shed. Cleaning the yard was involved.
. My job consist of putting products away as they arrive thought out the day. Pulling orders for the next days serveries. Some cleaning.
Picking products ,scanning, build your pallets then send to shipping. Cherry picker was used sometimes for the higher products. Bulk was always on the floor in the warehouse.
