Clinical Psychologist & Psychoanalyst

Patricia De Sear PhD.

Provide consultation and psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and seniors in private practice setting. Expertise in work with adults with ADHD, individuals with medical issues, psychological trauma, grief, depression & anxiety, relationship issues. Expertise in work with adults with ADHD, individuals with medical issues, psychological trauma, grief, depression & anxiety, relationship issues. I have had the privilege of accompanying many individuals on their emotional journeys from places of pain and suffering to new experiences of wholeness and greater engagement and satisfaction in their lives. Some have said I saved their life, while others feel alive for the first time. Because of my experience as an ICU nurse earlier in my career, I have a special understanding of the connection between the mind and body as well as both the vulnerability of our human condition and our capacity for healing, growth, and change. I work from a "relational perspective" which focuses on how relationships shape an individual's personality and how the relationship with a therapist/analyst becomes the arena where change and healing takes places.
