3 years work towards Bachelor's of Science degree in Management Information Science (a combination of Computer Programming and Accounting). I did not graduate because my husband as transferred to Georgia (he was in the Army).
I've worked with computers for over thirty-five years and IT has been my career focus since 1992. I've been developing and administering websites since 1999. I'm fluent in all the acronyms: HTML, CSS, PHP, etc... I was on the team that built the first website for Fort Stewart, Georgia, around 2002.
My technical support experience includes several years providing hands-on user and network support, 2+ years Help Desk experience supporting almost 6,000 users, as well as almost 2 years providing technical support for 2 WordPress plugin developers. In addition, as a freelance WordPress developer I provide telephone and remote support to my clients.
I have over forty years experience writing technical documents including user documentation, operating procedures and guidelines, training curricula, slides and handouts. I've been the "de facto" editor of office communications and technical documents in every office I've ever worked from my first duty assignment as an Army PFC.
