I am a Junior at DePauw University pursuing a Double-Degree in Music Performance and Biomedical Engineering. I am currently participating in an Internship at DePauw University called Information Technology Associates Program. As students, we establish and develop skills in technology by training in the different areas of technology around campus. Freshman Year, I was trained in Audio Recording, Customer Service and Support, Web Authoring, and Digital Video.

I am currently work for a organization called CTEP (Community Technology Enhancement Program) where my responsibilities include re-imaging refurbished microsoft computers which are then donated to the Greencastle community.

For my under-graduate degree, I will stay on DePauw's campus for four years, to complete my Bachelor of Music, and then transfer to an engineering university to finish my biomedical engineering degree, and I hope to eventually pursue a Masters in Biomedical Engineering.

I am aspiring to become a biomedical engineer and either pursue a career in research or creation of medical devices. I hope to work at a Biomedical facility located in the Midwest.

I am continuing my music education in hopes to better myself as a musician and possibly participate in a traveling Brass Chamber group.

Currently I am focusing on a career in Engineering, but if any musical opportunities are presented to me, I would take advantage of said opportunity.

FIRST robotics Lego League Team

Douglas Mac Arthur Elementary School

FIRST is a corporation that aspires to involve students at the elementary school, middle school, and high school level to be inspired by science so that they can further their knowledge in the areas of Math and Science. One of local Elementary schools in Indianapolis creates a team ever year of Elementary students to complete and sophisticated robot made out of legos and compete at a national event.

Each Lego Team mentor was in charge of instructing Elementary students  the importance of team-work, strategy, and problem-solving through creation of a competition Lego Robot.

When you click on Douglas Mac Arthur elementary, it will take you to the Elementary website, but if you are interesting in learning more about FIRST, here is a link that describes the FIRST robotics Lego League. Feel free to inspect the different levels of robotic competition as well.

Core 40 Honors Diploma

Perry Meridian High School

During four years at Perry Meridian High School, I primarily participated in the Music Program. I was a part of the High School's Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Full Orchestra.

I also participated in National Honors Society, Link Crew, Tri-M, and our High School's robotics team.

I graduated 7th in my class with a 4.2 GPA.

Electrical wiring
I had the responsibility of the being the Controls team leader on my high school's robotics team senior year. Being a part of the controls team entailed electrical wiring and manufacturing as well as computer programming. I mainly worked the electronics side of the controls team, but I was still able to gain some skill in computer programming, primarily C++. On the controls team, we created the electronics board of the robot, in other-words, the brain of the robot, as well as other electronic components allowing the robot to complete the necessary task.
Filming and Video Editing
For my fourth rotation of ITAP, we were required to study the different camera angles, determine the best lighting for specific situation, and determine how to record different types of audio. We will do a total of four filming projects where we had the responsibility of filming and editing using the included audio, additional audio, text, and varying transitions.
Microsoft Office
I am practiced in almost all Microsoft Office Programs, but primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and have dabbled in Publisher.
Audio Recording
From six weeks of training at the DePauw Audio Recording Services, I have learned how to not only set-up electrical equipment for a recording, but I have also had some experience manipulating that sound file different computer programs.
