Objective

I have 6 years of experience as an Operations and HR Manager in retail, leading and developing large teams; a strong business acumen and high knowledge of the digital environment. I am looking forward to finding a position in a company with global presence and a multicultural background, where constant innovation and people are the main priorities, preferably in the technology or retail industries. I would like to be involved and lead projects such as digital transformation processes, intrapreneurship and developing new solutions for customers, expanding to new markets or business areas, defining digital marketing strategy and optimizing investment, creation and improvement of e-commerce platforms and conversion rates, etc.

Co-founder of Alitrastras - an online, fast-retail brand that offers a variety of apparel and accessories printed with humourous designs related to the latest viral phenomena and social trends.

The project was born with the aim of finding a way in the world of e-commerce, putting into practice all the knowledge acquired during my Digital Business studies, creating our first online business and, of course, having fun.

As a newborn startup, I am currently in charge of running the marketing, financial and operational side of the business, leaving aside the artistic part of it. Our main focus at the moment is consolidating our portfolio of products and driving traffic to our website www.alitrastras.com.

Managing the stores within a geographic area (Barcelona and Bournemouth), leading a team of up to 100 colleagues and sales volume up to €46 million:

  • People: Staff cost optimization, selection/recruiting, continuous training, motivation, leadership, goal setting and orientation to specific results. I succeeded to create and develop high performance teams and developed  several employees who were later promoted to managerial positions.
  • KPIs: Sales and costs forecasting and analysis, creating and implementing action plans in order to achieve targets and increase the profitability of each cost center, KPI follow up and monitoring. One relevant accomplishment was the minimization of the employee rotation rate in my district.
  • Stock: Sales room optimization, driving sales, minimizing cost of stock  depreciation/loss, carrying out inventories and later analysis of the results, project management (store refurbishments) and in-store project implementation.

  • Internal Control area: Execution of periodic controls to verify the fulfillment of the company´s internal procedures and policies. Management of certain projects, such as the update of the Authorization Matrix, which gathers the level of authorization allowed for each position in the company.
  • Compliance area: Translation, adaptation and implementation of Holding´s policies within our Business Unit, collaborating with the Holding and designing training for employees. Participation in projects such as the update of the files in the Spanish Personal Data Protection Agency after the acquisition of a firm.
