I managed a territory of $1.7 million in annual sales. During this time I worked to bring value-added services to my clients by offering them end-to-end, broad-line resources for running their foodservice operation. From assisting them in writing menus to calculating both prime- and menu-item costs to bringing new and innovative profit-centers, I assisted my customer in being a successful entrepreneur.
I worked in outside sales in both Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula of Washington before being given my own sales territory in Sandpoint, Idaho. Beyond partnering with my customers to help them find success, I worked assisting my company's IT department in deploying new software, implementing software updates, training fellow Marketing Associates on every application we used, and performed maintenance and repair of both software and hardware on the company's fleet of laptop computers. I set up order-entry computers and software, and I trained customers to use the same order entry software.
Once in my own territory I grew annual sales from $52K to $600K in the first year.
