Lynn Hazan & Associates, Inc. (LH&A) is an executive recruitment and consulting firm in Chicago specializing in communications and marketing.I searched for a pool of candidates for multiple positions with many different professional backgrounds. I utilized social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates. I worked directly with the owner and president to recruit and follow-up with highly qualified candidates. I helped effectively screen, interview and evaluate candidates to assess their experience and skills in relationship to the client’s position. I was also able to attend client meetings with the president. I was brought into the company as one of three employees to help increase our company’s presence by attending and promoting career events, job fairs, speaking engagements and workshops. I updated social media accounts that informed followers about new opportunities, speaking seminars and business pitches. I also updated content on the website and contributed to the weekly listserv, a newsletter from LH&A sent out to nearly 4,000 people. I helped to create power point presentations for university speaking events and workshops and I obtained a leadership position when I helped train the new interns.
