Ovie Ukiri earned his bachelor’s degree in law and economics from Keele University and his master’s degree from King’s College London. Currently a managing partner at Ajumogbia & Okeke, Ovie Ukiri also maintains status as a CEDR-accredited mediator. Founded in 1990, CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution) is supported by international law firms as well as government organizations. Its accredited mediators are trained to provide coaching and consulting services to arbitrate negotiations and reconcile disputes effectively. As an impartial third party, a CEDR mediator has the experience to manage conflict efficiently in the public and corporate sectors. To become an accredited mediator, a professional must complete one of several educational curricula offered by CEDR, such as mediator skills training in one of four areas, or education through the Negotiation and Leadership Academy. These courses of study encompass education in creative negotiation skills, mediation best practices, and conflict resolution techniques. Further training is also available for professionals seeking comprehensive knowledge in law and executive management.
