I am currently seeking an entry level position in public relations or as a communication specialist, but I am also interested in positions in human resources.

Human Resources Assistant at Serco in Reston, VA

We currently are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to provide support in functional areas of our Corporate Human Resources department which may include recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development and/or training.

Qualifications include: above average administrative skills, well-versed in MS Office (esp. Execel), able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, two year Associate degree, 0-2 years experience in related field.

Community Relations Manager at Barnes & Noble in Virginia Beach, VA

As a Community Relations Manager, you will develop and execute an effective, results-oriented, local community relations program deigned to maximize sales growth and increase customer traffic.  You will also serve as a representative of Barnes & Noble with community organizations and cultivate existing business and generate new business opportunities reinforcing our bookselling culture, world-class customer service and merchandising standards.
