Projects

Symbiote September:

A month-long, annual, daily art contest and challenge held every September in which the Internet community participates by drawing assigned symbiote characters from the Marvel Universe or original symbiote characters every day. Those who can complete the month-long challenge by submitting every assigned drawing on the days they're due are automatically entered into the contest portion of the event in which first the community will judge through online polls which pieces are the best for each day of the month, then a select panel of judges will determine the top two winning art pieces from the 30 the community selected. Both winners receive special prizes, including digital comic books and features in a results blog.

The link provided will direct you to the current Symbiote September host page on deviantART, where you can find submitted art in the gallery organized into corresponding folders for each year and the daily assignment announcements in the journal section.

I founded and host the event every year, which includes writing up the daily challenge assignments, organizing and running the event, corresponding with the participants and community, providing and ensuring the assignment of prizes, and promoting the even across social media websites. The Venom Site agreed to officially sponsor the event in 2014, which includes promotion across its social media channels.
