Having served in various charitable and leadership roles throughout his 14-year career, pediatric dentist Ophir Alalouf, DDS, provides complete dental care to children as owner of Kids Teeth, LLC, through his office in Rockville, Maryland. Offering oral health services for patients from infancy through their college years, Dr. Alalouf also works with individuals with special needs. At Kids Teeth, Dr. Ophir Alalouf performs preventative oral health care including cleanings and sealant applications, as well as a full range of dental procedures such as cavity fillings and crown restorations. In addition, Dr. Alalouf manages a team of dental professionals and directs daily Kids Teeth office operations.
Dr. Alalouf earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and now maintains memberships with the American Dental Association (ADA), the Southern Maryland Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Maryland State Dental Association. A recipient of the Anthony S. Gugino Humanitarian Award, the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence, and the Dental Alumni Association Junior Class Award during his time at the University of Buffalo, Ophir Alalouf, DDS, was named class president during years two, three, and four of his program.
Continuing to use the leadership skills he cultivated during his time as a student, Dr. Alalouf has served in a series of volunteer roles within the dental community. For many years, Ophir Alalouf, DDS, contributed to National Children’s Dental Health Month in the role of Public Information Chair. Additionally, Dr. Alalouf has donated dental services to underserved children through the ADA’s Give Kids a Smile program and travels to area schools on career days to speak to students about being a dentist.
Dr. Ophir Alalouf attends annual pediatric and general dentistry continuing education classes and donates to not-for-profit organizations including the Children’s Wish Foundation International and Special Olympics Inc. A member of Shaare Torah synagogue, Dr. Alalouf enjoys watching his children’s sporting events and dance competitions.
