Research Experience

Global Environmental Microbiology Course at University of Southern California, Microbial Community Analysis of Catalina Island, Summer 2015 

A program funded by the National Science Foundation held on both the USC campus as well as the Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies. Program's main focus was to introduce the basic ideas of academic research,  with microbiology as a case study. Curriculum included both lectures and biology labs such as plant transects, water sampling, filtration, microscopy, gel electrophoresis, and polymerase chain reactions.
