As General Manager, I have a  vast  variety of responsibilities, including overseeing operations, managing staff, and maintaining the quality of customer experiences. I'm in charge of the hiring, training, and scheduling processes for employees; as well as coordinating staff events and bolstering office culture and morale. I also work directly with customers; coordinating and booking private events, supervising and running group experiences, and answering any questions our patrons and visitors may have. I run the numbers for our store accounts on a weekly basis and generate income and expense summaries for our company accountant. I must keep cash quantities in balance, online and in-store customer numbers in check, and maintain a consistent ratio of income to labor. Lastly, I participate in off-site networking events, donation arrangements, business agreements, marketing and promotion, public relations, and media outreach.

Team Leader

Defy Gravity- Lincoln

As a team leader, I trained, supervised, and lead employees, as well as worked alongside them to help serve the Defy Gravity guests. This included facilitating  transactions, ensuring guest safety, and maintaining the facility.  My time as a team lead with Defy Gravity was a great learning experience, short-lived as it was. I was offered an opportunity at my current occupation and jumped at the chance.

Painter, Sales Representative

Roca Berry Farm

I worked on the farm for many years, starting in the fields and working my way up through the years. Some of my earlier responsibilities included filling boxes of berries for sale, loading and tracking inventory, taking phone orders, facilitating transactions, and assisting in the supervision of field operations and seasonal employees. In my last several years, I was the farm artist for the Halloween/pumpkin season; painting props and signs and creating  special effects for the horror attractions.

Proficiencies

Customer Service-  Cash register experience, reception and phone service, and personal relations.

Management & Leadership-  Experience with training, supervising, and leading employees, as well as experience in marketing, accounting, and corporate outreach.

Microsoft Office Suite-  Word Processor, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint

Adobe Creative Suite-  Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premeir, Lightroom

Fine Arts Equipment-  From painting and printmaking to ceramics and welding; you name it, I likely know it. 

Writing-  I do enjoy a good syntactic composition.
