As the president of EcoShine Car Wash, I created and was responsible for every aspect of the business. I started this company from scratch and built it to become the car wash company for multiple oil and gas, exploration, and other industry companies in Houston within a short period of time. I sold my unique car wash system to very reluctant and skeptic business owners, building owners, and property managers. My company's extreme detail and professionalism was praised on a daily basis. As the owner of a fast moving, rapidly growing company, I learned skills I didn't know I was capable of acquiring . I created jobs, lead and delegated work among my personnel, created all the marketing material, created and maintained the website, created a system for daily and weekly operations, organized operations, managed all the administration of the business, visited clients and sold my business services, solved new and unique problems on a daily basis, and much more. I challenged myself everyday to improve our operations, our numbers, and our services.
Determined to give a unique education to my children, I embarqued on homeschooling them in 2008. The challenges of homeschooling two kids with different personalities and in two different grade levels were unknown to me at the time I started. I overcame every challenge by extensibly working day and night on the creation of lessons that adapted to each one of them and their learning styles. Through my research on every aspect of homeschooling, subject-specific topics, different learning styles and teaching designs, I was able to create interactive lesson plans that gave them in-depth learning. To overcome one of my child's challenges, I became specialized in teaching reading techniques to dyslexic children and children with auditory processing. I teamed with several other homeschool families and coordinated a learning group and a reading club. I created extremely unique and specialized curriculum for several other homeschooling children. The lessons I created used hands-on material, technology, and reading material, and they focused on the learning strengths of each child. I encouraged and educated families new to homeschooling and volunteered to help them on their new venture.
Bought investment properties in a highly-sought after neighborhood in Houston . Fixed the properties, rented them and sold them for a profit. I did extensive research on real estate investment, property fixing and property flipping. I interviewed and hired arquitects, contractors, and subcontractors. I researched and read on diy projects and completed multiple projects on my own in several houses. For instance, I installed the sprinkler systems, painted the interiors of the houses, did the landscaping, stonescaping, tile placing, and so on.
