Project Manager



As a project manager at Delete I have been able to manage projects for a variety of brands including Red Bull music competition platforms, Expedia facebook app creation, Metro newspapers in-app promotional city guides, Leeds Met new responsive site sitecore re-platforming and Ella's Kitchens online responsive weaning guide for a variety of budgets up to£ 400k, consistently bringing them under budget and on time. I have managed projects for mobile and tablet app publishing, social campaigns, Facebook apps, responsive websites and web apps, complex integration projects, fast turn-around campaigns, banner campaigns, full site builds and ecommerce platforms, most things digital really. I've also put in place strategies and documentation for a variety of methodologies(agile, waterfall, hybrid) to create new processes to solve unfamiliar problems to great success and to set strong foundations for repeat and future work. I've also rolled these out throughout the company through senior management teams and providing training and support where required.


  • Scoping the projects-writing initial proposal doc scopes and user stories
  • Briefing content, UX, development, visibility and design teams, creating briefing documents, co-creating project charters with clients and managing formal/informal briefing sessions.
  • Co-creating UX methodologies-in particular search logics and representing client and content stakeholder interests within the UX process.
  • Budgeting and profit and loss-producing profit and loss reports, determining recovery rates and using financial systems, putting together budget and costing models.
  • Invoicing and cash flow control-creating invoices for clients and POs for internal costs and feeding through to higher forecasting and cash flow reporting
  • Project plans and keeping the work on track and deliverables on time-working with MS Projects, Merlin and Teamgantt to create workflows for teams to work to the maximum efficiency for each project.
  • Being the primary point of contact for clients and other stakeholders and developing those relationships-for clients across culture and music, press and publishing, medical, education, property, charity and many more industries
  • Developing new project workflows and documentation for use across the company
  •  Bringing new documentation such as statement of works and user stories and agile ticket management systems
  • Developing new and repeat business through existing relationships, cross-selling and up-selling and providing scoping, delivery and technical support around new business.
  • Managing resource – ensuring resourcing issues and conflicts are dealt with quickly and most efficiently to the best possible benefit for clients
  • Quality assurance – Testing in various states (functionality, design conformance, browser and device, accessibility etc.)

Account/project Executive



As an account/project executive I was primarily working with the agencies largest retained client, DFS who billed£ 1million+ annually. This was a client we developed a strong working relationship with, particularly while I was there, to be trusted with this retailers full digital design and build account. Working for this client I managed the creation of a custom build ecommerce platform, which took over£ 2million in sales within the first 6 months, a mobile site to work over all mobile devices and taking their main site and careers site multinational to a new market in the republic of Ireland. As well as this I managed the constant updates to the sites and the implementation of new campaigns and campaign messaging across the sites.


  • Receiving and refining briefs with the client
  • Turning these briefs into actionable plans with the design and development teams
  • Quality assurance-Developing new testing processes and responsible for hundreds of bug free rollouts, supported by continuous highest scores in sitemorse (independent site automated quality detection service).
  • Being one of the main client contacts in daily communication from the client Scoping areas of technical integration with the development team and technical stakeholders.
  • Project plans and keeping the work on track and deliverables on time.
  • Management of the clients CMS and asset editing and uploading to the site.

The client required a new approach to their digital strategy and a forward thinking online branding and style development, along with a new responsive design site built within sitecore. This was required to go live within 6 months to match with their re-branding and re-naming and had to match both their current needs and future direction. The budget was £400k Results Successful delivery on budget and on time with the digital strategy and styles rolled out across all the leeds met digital properties. Fantastic feedback from the client - awaiting quantifiable results.

Key Skills Tech-savvy-I've spent my full career working closely with development teams. I've lots of experience of all things technical integrating with software, API's, databases etc. I've planned server setup and rollout plans. I've deployed apps and published through third party services. I've worked with many CMS including Sitecore(with training qualifications), Wordpress, Magento and many custom build CMS's plus I've also got great surrounding knowledge of the digital world. Flexibility-I turn my hands to many areas beyond Gantt charts and budget reports. I've awareness and experience with all the stages of a project. I've worked with the SEO and analytics team in analysing site performance and briefing in improvements to search optimisation, the UX and content teams in preparing content analysis and plans and updating wireframes and providing user experience analysis
