Recruited to bring together at team of community professionals from the areas of school, law enforcement, prevention, Department of Family Services, and mental health to forge relationships that could build foundations for more effective prevention strategies with children and families throughout the community utilizing best practices.There was strong resistance among the agencies initially because of overlap of services.I was successful at helping each agency establish boundaries and forge new relationships that focus on community need.
