Functions managed:

-Sourcing leads, responding to RFPs/RFQs

-Managing Sales CRM and MIS reports

Some Achievements:

-Managed the Sales process end-to-end; from Lead Generation to Account Management

-Managed large, key accounts with total revenue of USD 1.2mn (annually)

-Directly responsible for earning revenue of USD 2mn and booking USD 1.5mn over the last 2 years

-Met 126% of target for 2009-10 and contributed to 28% of total revenue (60% new business, 40% existing business)

-Harvested full potential of existing accounts; acquired 400% revenue growth by cross-selling and up-selling services

-Acquired largest single value contract for $600K (for 8 months) for a key account

-Met Gross Margin targets for existing accounts, and was indirectly responsible for exceeding bottom-line performance

-Set up the San Francisco office/facility for the sales team

-Lead Generation targets met at all tradeshows and exhibitions participated

-Managed Sales Performance, CRM, and MIS reporting to the management (weekly and monthly/annual review), single-handedly

-Planned/Managed Sales and Marketing budgets

-Kept track of/Controlled costs for Sales travel, stay and logistics for tradeshows

-Handling Customer Service, Billing, Activation and Trouble-reporting for a reputed telecommunications major in US

-Performance and revenue generation by the sale of long distance calling plans for the global telecommunications and internet services provider

-Ensure team performance in accordance with the parameters decided by the client as well as meet internal targets

-Enabling first hand Customer Support emails for Microsoft Product Support Services pertaining to various technical, non-technical, sales, marketing & troubleshooting issues for the Microsoft customers

I completed this degree through Vivekanand Education Society's College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Chembur, Mumbai.

I have completed 240 Hours of Work Experience Project under the University of Mumbai's Dept. of Adult & Continuing Education and Extension. DACEE is focused at enabling university-level and higher education to the masses (esp. rural) in India. My Project report entitled, "Antar Drushti - the search for Self", was awarded the Best Project in the University.

I have been a part of various cultural and intellectual activities at the University as well as in the college.

I was the Student Chief Editor/Visual Designer of my college annual magazine, Vivek for two consecutive years.

I assisted Prof. (Mrs.) Shikha Dutta, English Literature Department of our college in her PhD work by helping her in compiling and printing her reports. The thesis was based on the subject, "Effects of colonization and English language on Indian women in Canada".

Experience

I was associated with VANS Information Systems, a content management company, for 2 ½; months as a web site reviewer. My profile included writing reviews for web sites that were used as a backbone for the Britannica.com search engine.

I have worked as Lab Instructor with my college and as a part time visiting faculty for the Bachelors in Computer Science course. I had been training students on practical skills in programming and also delivering theory lectures.

I have also worked on various software projects at NIIT covering most of the languages platforms and database programming including Airways Reservation System, Library Management, Employee Payroll, Hotel Management, Employee Database, etc.
