Received leadership training and experience while serving in the US Army Military Intelligence Branch and received extensive training in electronic theory and diversified technology.  Gained practical experience in repairing information and data collection systems on military bases overseas and in CONUS.  As a contractor, Became Lead Administrator of UNIX RAID-5 Storage Cluster, developed training ciriculum, and was promoted to Team Lead.Earned Cisco technical certification and developed into the J2 Network Engineer for the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS) network.Continued formal education, earned Bachelor’s of Science in Information Technology and a Master’s of Business Administration as a post-graduate degree.Promoted to Program Manager for the J6 Army Signal Activity and grew the business from 69 employees to 92, and grew the contract value from $13M to $22M. Selected by Lockheed Martin as Operational Engineering Manager and expanded managerial role to 148 employees on 5 different government contracts with multiple sub-contractors 


With over 13 years experience as a DoD contractor, beginning in 1997 with the transition of critical data from US Southcom Headquarters from Panama to Miami, have demonstrated ability to support an organization's business strategy and mission requirements, have received several awards of merit that substantiate ability to support complex large-scale IT projects. Currently assigned as the South-TNOSC Senior Systems Integrator and Site Lead at Ft.Gordon, GA, for NOVA Corporation an 8(A) SDB tribally owned by the Navajo Nation.

Currently the Program Manager and Sr. Systems Integrator for the Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System-International Security Assistance Forces (CENTRIXS-ISAF), which is otherwise known as the CX-I network, the data network of choice for forces deploying to Afghanistan. Provides Program Management and services for 13 employees on a $1.9M contract with the US Army's 7th Signal Center - South Theater Network Operations and Security Center (S-TNOSC) to support the operations and maintenance of the CONUS Point of Presence (PoP) for the South West Asia (SWA) Afghanistan Mission Network (AMN) extension to CONUS-Based units.

Provided Program Management for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of Large DoD Headquarters element (US Southcom, Miami, FL). Responsible for Profit and Loss (P&L) for $22M in Time and Materials contract with 90+ technical staff. Directed and reported daily task activities of the program. Provided a single point of contact for all issues and concerns.

As a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified  IT Program Manager, provided daily leadership and direct supervision of 91 supervisors and staff on a $22.6M IDIQ contract to provide enterprise IT infrastructure support of NIPR/SIPR networks across several functional teams and several sub-contractors. 

Selected by Lockheed Martin as the Operational Engineering Manager in May 2009.These additional duties included the day-to-day internal program execution, staffing and hiring, employee awards and recognition, employee career development, employee performance assessment, program team morale, disciplinary actions, skills development, program process management, and capture support across lines of business.During this time the staff numbers increased from 35 Lockheed Martin Employees to 99.Also administrated 49 additional staff from sub-contractors to increase total work force responsibility to 148. 

As a result of the devasting earthquake in Haiti on Jan 13 2010, was awarded a sole-source emergency contract to provide an additional 17 employees temporarily for a six month surge effort, increasing total managed staff to 165.

Projected overtime hours for after hour support that included:weekends and holidays, beeper and on-call, exercises, and emergencies.Submitted overtime projections for inclusion into the budget outlook per fiscal quarter.

Prepared monthly technical reports that included significant activities from all functional teams, to include financial spend plans, and financial burn rates.

Prepared Management Business Reviews and Program Management Plans that included organization charts, financial outlooks and projections, SWOT analysis, Qualitative Risk Probability and Impact Matrix to Threats and Opportunities.Presented Management Business Reviews and Program Reviews to senior level managers.

As a CCNA/CCDA certified Network Engineer, provided 24/7 Responsibility for critical J2 Joint Warfighters Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) at US Southern Command Headquarters and associated remote Department of Defense sites worldwide.

Interfaced daily with military and civilian customers and met often with commercial vendors, as well as developing crucial relationships with Cisco and Marconi Technical Assistance Centers (TAC)

Integrated and maintained multi-vendor networks primarily consisting of Cisco and Marconi IP routers and layer 2 switches across various high-speed media formats such as ATM OC-48, OC-12, OC-3, Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and long haul encrypted Serial Links

Working together as a team our engineering staff headed a million dollar Network Modernization effort that seamlessly replaced 16 existing Cisco 5500 switches with 10 Cisco 6500 Layer 3 switches with minimum downtime and maximum efficiency.

Integrated Cisco 6500 Gigabit Ethernet to Marconi ATM OC-48 links via Marconi ESR-5000, and integrated Cisco Port-Channel bundling technology with Marconi Huntgroups.
