During my time at WOW247, I endeavored to be involved in as much of the editorial and content producing process as possible. My duties included writing up-to-date breaking news reports and producing engaging and informative articles for the website's rapidly growing audience. I attended the Edinburgh International Film Festival and was the representative for the website at red carpet and media events, interviewing directors, actors and producers as well as making deadlines on reviews and reports. In my time at WOW247, their audience grow from 450, 000 unique views per month to 900, 000. This was in part due to the new website launch which I actively provided insight into whenever I could-learning invaluable knowledge about SEO, marketing and advertising along the way. In addition to gaining experience in the marketing side of the website, I was involved in the social media running of the brand.
