Project Manager, Telecommunications
Responsible for proactively maintaining XO Enterprise & National customer relationships by managing all aspects of the customer’s business needs-project management, training, technical assistance, post install support.
Coordinate a variety of business activities to facilitate the installation of telecommunication services on accounts with recurring revenues of up to $10k monthly. Oversee 60-100 projects daily while serving as a liaison to many of the Fortune 1000, Russel 2000 commercial and enterprise customers and public organizations.
Managing sales, engineering and operation workforce groups to deliver the services with the limited resources on a 30-45 day schedule.
Advising senior management on change and knowledge systems management, which includes writing paper reports.
Accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned project completion objectives and monthly installation quotas, maintaining existing and adding new revenue within named diverse customer base.
Manage installation projects to install large complex Voice, Data, Hosting, and IP products and services such as POT lines, T1, DS0, DS1, DS 3, Fiberoptics, IPIA, Flex, PRI, Flex PRI,VOIP,VPN; Ethernet 1.5 Meg-10 Meg, Broadband 10 Meg and above (EOC and EOS), MPLS, SIP
Review complex customer requirements, equipment configurations, feasibility of intended applications, required software and adequacy of implementations plans for customer needs, and provide specific solution recommendationsGather information on the customer’s business processes, critical success factors, and vendor support to deliver value-added business solutions.
Maintain contact with the customers, agents, vendors to resolve problems, and seek additional opportunities to meet pre- and post- installation needs.
Create and maintain accurate installation plans and review with senior level XO management.
