Canadian Tire Retail has 482 stores accross Canada and is operated by dealers who are independent business owners.

  • Directed all operations, including hiring, training, purchasing, scheduling and supervision of all personnel.
  • Achieved largest increase in average sale for peer stores in lower mainland and was in top quartile in Canada.
  • Achieved largest gross margin growth in company history.
  • Consistently directed to "Gold Certified Status" signaling a high standard of employee product knowledge and customer service.
  • Devised and implemented systems to reduce and limit shrinkage and theft prevention, increasing bottom line profit.

Glentel Inc.

Glentel is a $100MM+ public traded company (TSX:GLN) offering wireless services, rental equipment, satellite and terrestrial network systems, tower sites and wireless asset monitoring.

  • Reduced selling and administration costs by $1.3 million, through cost control and staff reductions,19.8% reduction in costs over previous year.
  • Facilitated the negotiation and due diligence of the purchase and acquisition of $1.5 million of infrastructure from the largest communication company in the world.
  • Increased operating earnings from a net loss of $4.8 million to a profit of $1.1 million year over year.
  • Streamlined purchasing policies and practices resulting in a 10% savings.
  • Established Corporate Sales Team to develop sales in the U.S., achieved over $250,000 in sales and $100,000 in yearly re-occuring revenue in the first year. 
  • Directed the purchase of inventory of up to $22 million per year, including all price negotiations with vendors and suppliers worldwide.
