I have a proud and committed attitude to all areas of my working life, and a willingness to take on any challenges that I may encounter in a methodical and thorough manner.

Since graduating in July 2012, I worked as a Recruitment Consultant, specialising in Accountancy and Finance professionals, operating within the international and offshore markets. While the experience I have gained, particularly in sales and relationship management, has been invaluable, I am now keen to explore opportunities outside of recruitment.

In 2010, I undertook my Residence Abroad, spending 18 weeks in Beijing, China, and 18 weeks in St. Petersburg, Russia, giving me the chance to experience life in completely different cultures, outside my comfort zone.

I have vast experience working in, and leading teams, particularly in my role as Club Captain of the University of Manchester Rugby Football Club, where I managed the day-to-day running of a sports club with over 120 members and a substantial budget for the 2008-09 season, and was voted into the role again for the 2011-12 season. This has given me the motivational and leadership skills so invaluable in the modern business and financial world, while acquiring the skill of contract negotiations, with sponsors such as KPMG, Tetley’s, JPMorgan and Sale Sharks. Overseeing the organisation of our annual Varsity match, attracting a crowd of over 3,000 provided me with an insight into marketing and event organisation.

Sport – Further to rugby, I am also a keen tennis and cricket player during the summer months, and have gained my RFU level 1 coaching certificate, as well as becoming a licensed SAQ ® Trainer.

Music – I play the guitar to grade 5 level (both classical and electric), and am a keen singer having performed lead roles in musicals at school. I believe this valuable experience has allowed me to exercise my self discipline and explore my more creative attributes.

Computer Literacy

I have a sound working knowledge of the following programs: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, iWork package, and basic knowledge of MS Access and MS Works. I am able to type proficiently in Cyrillic and Simplified Chinese.
