Sustainability Hub

Elected treasurer of the Sustainability Hub. Responsible for the budget and finances. This organization serves as the central group to connect the numerous sustainability-related clubs on campus and is responsible for putting on large campus-wide events, such as Campus Sustainability Day, Earth Week, Generation Waking Up Workshop. Through the Hub, I helped facilitate at the Generation Waking Up Workshop. The Hub is also where other organizations get started, such as Big Red Bikes, a bike sharing system for Cornell, and Take Back the Tap, an external campaign brought to Cornell to reduce consumption of bottled water.

Phi Sigma Pi National Co-Ed Honor Fraternity

Active member of Phi Sigma Pi. Received Purple & Gold Award in December 2010 for being an active and invaluable brother. This Fraternity is based upon the tripod of scholarship, fellowship, and leadership, putting on and participating in several events that work to enhance every brother by learning new things, volunteering, and participating in leadership trainings.

Cornell Debate Association

Active member of the Cornell Debate Association. The team travels to tournaments every weekend, with members attending those they can make. I have been both a judge and debater at these events and also helped run the Cornell Debate Tournament in April 2010, and will help with this years upcoming tournament.

Elected by peers as Freshman Senator, where I served a full term as an active Senator. I played a large role in the Campus Improvements, Student Activities, Oversight, Textbook, and Blood Drive Committees.

Rockland County Youth Bureau

Elected as a Student Representative to the Rockland County Youth Bureau for the 2008 Academic Year. I attended monthly meetings with the Bureau and gave feedback on project proposals and ideas. Also responsible for conducting two large-scale program evaluations to ensure funding received from the Bureau was being used correctly and efficiently.

Served as an Ambassador for the Student Ambassadors Program for two years where I volunteered over 80 hours of my time to both on and off campus activities.

Habitat for Humanity

Traveled to New Orleans, LA with Habitat for Humanity to help construct a house in May 2009.

Internet Applications
As a student and worker in the 21st century, it is imperative to have working knowledge on how to navigate through the internet. I conduct research with ease, figure out web applications such as WordPress, ConstantContact, LinkedIn, among numerous others, within minutes, am resourceful, and have experience with the online database systems ProviderSoft and SeminarRSVP.
Adobe Photoshop
Took an introductory course for computer art in High School, have continued to use Photoshop in the years since that initial course on a sporadic basis. Although I am not advanced in the program, I explore it's options with ease and learn well from tutorials.
Microsoft Office
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (for Windows) and Entourage (for Mac).
