2006 - 2010

Chief Information Officer (2008-2010) | Interim CIO and Director, IT (2008)


Promoted after serving in interim role. Challenges included serious data integrity and reporting issues following implementation of SAP, along with cost reductions necessitated by recent bankruptcy filing. Led team of 40 and controlled annual budget of $5-$7M with systems accountability for 21 locations in the US and Thailand and 700 users worldwide. Resolved all global data integrity issues within 9 months, developed multi-year global IT strategy, and saved millions through major restructuring initiative.

2006 - 2007

Director, Store Systems


Recruited into newly created position due to success working with company previously as a consultant. Initially responsible for hiring and training new store systems staff, and designing/building out global ERP testing landscape. Quickly assigned to jump-start a stalled SAP implementation. Led project team of 100 with accountability for enterprise plans, budgets, steering committee updates, vendor partnerships, training, execution, store conversion and integration.

2006 - 2006


Oversaw implementations of connected store, CRM, loss prevention, and sales audit solutions for clients such as JCPenney, Wynn Resorts (International), Forman Mills and Orvis Sporting Goods. Responsible for executive account management, project management, sales, and product roadmap development. Led teams of up to 25 on projects with budgets of between $2-$4M. Saved several troubled accounts, transforming the relationships through solid project management and enhanced communication.

2005 - 2006

Senior Consulting Manager, Store Operations


Laid foundation for Shane Company’s SAP implementation. Accountabilities included project planning, budget development, functionality scoping and gap analysis, documentation and training, documentation, QA scheduling and vendor management. Played key role on team of 65 consultants on project with $8-12M budget and a 10-month turnaround.

2003 - 2005

Manager, Retail Solutions and New Store Openings


Led 50-member project team with accountability for improving the customer experience and streamlining costs through emerging technologies analysis, business case development, software/hardware selection, functionality design, application development, and retail solutions implementation. Oversaw all IT needs for 575 stores in 23 states, supervising up to 75 team members/vendors. Rolled out several new systems to 575 stores in just 5 weeks and cut labor costs by over $12M after recommending and implementing task management software.

1999 - 2002

Senior Consulting Manager, Retail Solutions


Initially joined CFT Consulting and remained with the company after it was acquired by Answerthink. Led teams of 8-25 on multimillion-dollar hardware and software projects. Clients included Gart Sports, Musicland Stores Corporation/Best Buy, Dell, The Home Shopping Network, Chico’s and Wild Oats.

1992 - 1999

Director Retail Systems/Support Center Services


Integrated and restructured two IT departments into one (JumboSports and Kash n’ Karry) in order to support approximately 12,000 users across 205 locations. Led core team of 15 and project teams of up to 35.
