I am an American University graduate student who speaks French nearly fluently and is beginning to study Russian and Hindi/Urdu.  I have completed my Graduate Certificate of Cross Cultural Communications from American University in December 2011. I am interested in studying Central/South Asia as well as the global south in general.

My immediate goals are to gain work experience in an environment that focuses on cultural issues in development, and to finish my certificate in Cross Cultural Communications to prepare myself for a masters degree in Public Policy. Ultimately I wish to increase understanding of, and prevent issues relating to, cultural misunderstanding and ignorance in order to increase human and social development throughout the world.
