Liaison Officer

Nature Theater of Oklahoma

When the Nature Theater of Oklahoma came over to Singapore to perform for the Singapore Arts Festival, I was one of their liaison officers and I guided them around Singapore, in particular the area near their performance venues and hotel for a span of one week. I got to watch them rehearse and perform, gaining valuable experience about the art form of Theater and the effort and work that goes behind each performance.

Volunteer/Gallery Assistant

Affordable Art Fair

Was a gallery assistant at the Affordable Art Fair (first ever in Singapore) which was held at the F1 Pit Building. Helped out with The Hanga Gallery that dealt with Contemporary Japanese Art Prints and learned some valuable information regarding some of the artists as well as art pieces.

The Teng Company

Helped out with the ticketing, selling of merchandise and crowd control for the event - "Sun Huang in Concert: An Erhu Recital" which was held at Esplanade Recital Studio. Was listed as crew member in the program booklet.

Helped out with a badge making booth at  the PCF Family day event and also aided with crowd control.

Was a volunteer at the Children Seasons at the National Museum. Assisted the facilitators at a ticketed workshop and a drop-in activity  - had to help children out with the activity, replenish utensils as well as aid with crowd control.

Got into Ngee Ann Polytechnic through Joint Polytechnic Special Admissions (JPSAE) - a procedure that required interviewees to attend an interview and showcase relevant works in order to be accepted into the respective courses.
