Assist the System Support Technician with daily duties.
Maintain/troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues for over 300 workstations.
Support Dell Optiplex 620, 755 and 760 computers running Windows XP SP3.
Provide customer service in a multi-platform environment.
Diagnose and replace defective Hard Drive, Motherboards, Memory Cards and Power Supplies.
Install Operating Systems, applications, updates and device drivers.
Maintain all standalone printers and peripheral devices, by performing toner replacement
and scheduled maintenance.
Install new equipment and provide Cat5e/Cat6 connectivity through a series of cabling, wall plates, patch panels and Cisco Switch ports.
ssist with the creation, testing and sys-prepping of new computer images for deployment. Image one or multicast multiple computers simultaneously, utilizing Power Quest imaging software.
Write and maintain accurate documentation and procedures outlining network and computer configurations,
user instructions and inventory control.
