BA in Linguistics

Brigham Young University
Completed a BA in Linguistics from BYU with 3.69 GPA in major courses. Also earned a minor in TESOL. Coursework in Linguistics included phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics and historical linguistics, culminating in a capstone project of creating a language using sound principles from all of the above. Coursework in TESOL inculded second language acquisition, literacy development, English Grammar, teaching listening and speaking, course and lesson planning, and a 150 hour TESOL internship.
