Provide hardware support for the campus ID card program (Buck ID).  Install, service and repair all Buck ID affiliated equipment including door access and monitoring, vending, copiers, merchant POS, laundry systems, and cash deposit stations. Provide support and customized solutions for a variety of applications around main Columbus campus and satellite campuses. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other University offices on large campus projects. Inventory hardware for systems, provide quotes for system installations and hire/ supervise 1 student worker.

2003 - 2006

GE Infrastructure

Assemble, wire, program and test Continuous Emissions Monitoring Stations (CEMS). Troubleshoot and bring CEMS units into operation in-house. Perform final quality checks and ship CEMS units. Install and provide support for CEMS in the field. Control panel assembly, PTP wiring, tuning analog loops on PLC's, testing I/O on PLC's, assembling and testing pneumatic systems, HVAC integration and troubleshooting on mini-environments, and electrical trade skills such as terminating load centers and running conduit.

Develop and design flexible packaging equipment. Develop prototypes of customer equipment and test. Put prototypes into production and build per customer specs. Install and wire Sealstrip systems and integrate with customer hardware. Build and develop in-house production machinery for Sealstrip tapes. Handle any electrical issues with the company building.

Electrician/ Designer

Associated Bio-Engineers and Consultants, Inc.

Assemble and wire control panels for use with biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Wire and perform quality checks and start-up procedures on bioreactors and fermentors. Program and test PLC systems, mass flow controllers, load cell systems, pH/DO2 and opacity meters, and various variable speed motor controllers. Handle in-house electrical distribution issues. Travel to pharmaceutical plants for start-up and commissioning.
