In 1998, Tim Carre began his career in finance as a Telemarketer with BLS Funding in Concord, California. With early success, Mr. Carre earned promotion to the position of Loan Agent after four months. He became the company's top producing Loan Agent six months later, a status he maintained throughout the rest of his employment with BLS Funding. Tim Carre attributes his success to a simple approach based on respect and personalized attention to each client, which allowed him to learn each individual's financial goals. Throughout his time as a Loan Agent and Senior Loan Agent with BLS Funding, Tim Carre earned a place each month in the firm's Million Dollar Club, a group of the company's best performers. Consistently surpassing other loan agents, Tim Carre attended BLS Funding's top producers trip, for which the company paid. By 2001, Mr. Carre sought new professional challenges and began looking for a new venue through which to offer his expertise. In March 2001, Tim Carre opened a net branch of Innovative Mortgage Solutions in San Ramon, California. Relying on his talents and those of 10 other loan agents, Mr. Carre enlarged the business. Within a few years, he managed a team of 20 professionals, and the office's staff closed 75 units of funding per month. The office closed $200 million in loans in one year. By 2004, Tim Carre had built a position from which to purchase Innovative Mortgage Solutions from its original owner. After terms for the sale were agreed upon, Mr. Carre became the sole proprietor and operator of the business. Moving away from mortgage brokering and into loan banking, Tim Carre created a correspondent relationship with a bank and began his firm's own funding of clients' home loans. Expanding operations, he soon directed offices in four different California locations: Danville, San Francisco, San Ramon, and Irvine. Mr. Carre oversaw more than 55 employees and $450 million each year in loans closed.
