Moved into Aviva Investors’ Real Estate Investment team to lead the transformation of this business

unit into an agile globally capable entity. Brought deep change experience to work with the FD and senior management team of the UK’s largest real estate investment business.

  • Led mobilization of the transformational change agenda including procurement of external specialist help
  • Led the time-boxed and fixed price effort to develop a new target operating model (TOM) for a global business; delivered on time, on budget and at pace, gaining £1.5m funding
  • Led wider stakeholder engagement including the design and delivery of innovative communication activities
  • Managed the business process outsource (BPO ) effort using an Indian partner to enhance and build global business capability

Acted a lead for the appointed programme manager through the selection of a new management information system.


As Global Head of Business Relationship Management worked closely with senior/C-level management to understand and shape and manage their short, medium and long term change agenda.

  • Managed and maintained the change/project pipeline across Finance (including Legal & Risk), HR and Operations, circa £8m, including developing business cases and building and managing milestone plans
  • Led primary client engagement, bringing a clear commercial sense and strong change and project management skills to help the business manage their strategic change agenda
  • Ensured clear understanding and communication of real change capacity and delivery scheduling
  • Accountable for final delivery of major derivatives capability.

As Head of Corporate Programme Office launched and established the Corporate Programme Office managing ~£30m, blending strong line and change management experience into this key role.

  • Resourced, tooled and re-launched the Corporate PMO as a centre of excellence providing training and support to international sponsors and project managers
  • Produced for regular corporate reporting on the change portfolio condition and actual and projected benefit realization
