A Blueprint for Success - Museum Graphics
Created a cohesive museum design for a tradeshow to showcase a company's museum graphics capabilities. Scanned and colorized architectural blueprints. Overlaid samples of museum exhibits with a soft edge. Keeping with the overall design theme, masked off parts of exhibits to give some areas a realistic look and others a blueprint look using a combination of filters and image adjustments.
The Great Wraps Lifestyle - In-store Graphics The challenge: to evoke a fun, relaxed atmosphere through in-store graphics at Great Wraps locations. Selected appropriate lifestyle images, converted to black and white, then colorized selected areas with vibrant colors. Converted four-color logo to monochromatic logo with transparent layers to tie in with colors used in the images.
Making Airplanes Fly for Gulfstream
The challenge: to take a photograph of a plane on a landing strip and make it fly. Isolated the plane from the background using vector paths and masks, removed landing gear and color adjusted to fit in a new background.
Putting Ford Paint Chips to the Test
Showcased Ford automobiles in the best light, changing output colors to match paint chips for the new model year. Recreated logo on car grill for sharper, brighter appearance. Changed turn signals color to match client specifications. Removed reflection in front wheel. Brightened the overall image, removing prominent red tone. Process required masking out and/or selecting individual sections from the rest of the image using vector paths and masks. Reduced windshield and window reflections, brightening for a more opaque look using blending layers.
Mapping Out the Future for Real Estate Developers
Designed maps with surrounding neighborhood amenities to facilitate sale of future property developments. Drew map in Illustrator using a cad rendering as a guide for element placement. Color coded buildings to distinguish townhomes from other units and empty lots. Created additional maps of surrounding area based on incomplete and soiled maps supplied by the client, turning to the Web to identify the missing pieces.
Engineering Flexibility into Restaurant Signage Delights Coffee Chain
Designed a menu board to accommodate changeable pricing and item descriptions. Created three-dimensional category headers. Engineered all the pieces on this unit to be moved around interchangeably. Developed the stand-up display design in the shape of a tree with removable flavor labels to showcase the offerings of the day.

Built production files for all pieces of a bank roll out, including three-dimensional logo signs, continuous circle graphics to hang from ceiling, wallpaper, posters and cut vinyl.
