Instructor of ninth grade special education students and general education students for Modern American History and 9th grade English education.

I was the summer school Humanities teacher. I co-taught Modern American History to a group for 25 or more students, helped plan educational field studies, prepared a rigorous English and History curriculum that covered a year's worth of education in eight weeks. Prepared and planned tests and finals according to state standards.

I was the summer school English Teacher for 10th graders. I taught an entire year of English in three weeks, the focus was Romeo and Juliet, Antigone, a Media Project and Night. I enjoy teaching summer school especially for general education to keep me up to speed and in touch with the general education students.

Instructed ninth grade students with a self-created interactive and rigorous curriculum for Modern American History, 9th grade English, and planned engaging field studies, which increased the educational standards the students were accustomed. In addition, as the honors committee and college planning advisor, I assisted special educational students on a daily basis helping them with their educational and life goals. I was responsible for the 9th grade special education case load Humanities, developed IEP meetings, parent contacts and set goals according to state regulations. I was able to plan and organize a humanities curriculum with my fellow co-workers, and be an after school tutor to not only special educations students but also general students.

I was the special education 9th grade teacher and prepped and planned for all subject areas, for 9th, 10th and 11th grade students. I was on call several times a month with a pager and late night responsibilities.I included Heart-Math, Social Skills and Restitution on daily basis in lesson plans to better assist student with emotional disabilities.

My classroom was contained school and program for at risk students, and at the end of the year I had a 100% success rate for students to pass on to the next appropriate grade level. Along with my teaching responsibilities I helped the students create a 1st time poetry book that was published and distributed to teachers, friends and family.Special Education Instructor for ninth grade students.

I was the summer school 9th grade English teacher. I was responsible for a classroom of twenty or more students, and had to effectively teach a school year worth of material in about three weeks. My focus for the ninth grade students was a career paper, short stories and poetry. I enjoyed working with ninth grade students, and the summer school teaching gave me my first step into a full-time career with the Sheboygan Area School District.

2009-Cozumel, Mexico 2008-Jamaica- My husband and I traveled to Jamaica to stand up in a friends wedding. 2007-Jamaica- My husband and I traveled to Jamaica to stand up in a friends wedding. 2003-Hawaii- I went to Hawaii with the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan to study Hawaiian culture and literature. I received credit for this class and travel. 2000- Germany- I was an exchange student in Germany for the summer. 1998-China and Hong Kong- I took a circle tour of China and Hong Kong before the switch happened and Hong Kong became a part of China.
