Business English Consultant

Corporate English Institute

Moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2000 to experience a full cultural and language immersion.  I received my Cambridge University CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) degree in San Francisco and immediately moved to Argentina.

My goal was to work with large corporations and learn the business and marketing strategies of the Latin American culture.  Teaching English is the very best way to enter a corporation and understand the infrastructure intimately.  I worked with Microsoft, Banco Rio/Banco Santander, Medtronic, Biotronic Medical Devices, IDIM (Instituto de Investigaciones Metabolicas), International Diageo Beverages, and many more for just over 5 years.

DIG Models/DataBAse International Group

I started DIG Models, a male modeling agency, in 2001, just after the economic crisis in Argentina as a way to create jobs in a depressed economy.

It was an extraordinary experience learning everything from A to Z with regards to all facets of the industry including fashion design, photography, merchandising, advertising, public relations, supply chain management, and of course, fashion modeling.

My models were featured in top magazines around the world, as well as one model being featured on enormous downtown billboards in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.

Pharmacy Intern

Cris Rexall

Incredible retail pharmacy experience for nearly 5 years working for an old-fashioned 70-year-old "mortar and pestle" pharmacy with an authentic soda fountain serving real cherry cokes!

This pharmacy is located about 6 blocks from Warren Buffet's house in Omaha, where he frequented almost daily with his grandkids.  I had no idea who he was for the first 3 years working there until my boss told me that I'd befriended the richest man in the world (at the time)!!!  LOL  Aaaaaah, good times.

I am creative to a fault.  My mind is going 24/7 and never stops, mostly because I am a copywriter and branding specialist that just loves to come up with really out of the box thinking and dovetail it with what's possible.  There is never a dull moment in my mind...
Serial self-starter that loves a challenge and has made an art and a science out of "bootstrapping" a startup business.  The rush and excitement of grabbing onto the lightning rod of a new idea and bringing it into reality is what I live for!  The energy of "the new idea" is what life is all about!
I love language.  I am bilingual in Spanish and English and can manage in Italian if need be.  I am open to learning more languages and taking intensive classes if this position warrants it.
Written and Verbal Presentation
Love public speaking, training, powerpoint/keynote presentations to visualize a process, you name it.   I'm really all about simplifying anything to do with communication and making it more efficient.
Anything from web development, software development, user interface architecture and wireframing, all the way to internet marketing, e-commerce and video podcasting, you name it, I can do it!
