  • Ensure full compliance with UN HABITAT rules, regulations, and policies of financial activities, financial recording/reporting system and follow-up on audit recommendations; implementation of effective internal controls, proper functioning of a client-oriented financial resources management system.
  • Wrote and monitored Administration on Aging grants in collaboration with UN-Habitat Palestine Officer and ROAS (Regional Office and Arab States)
  • Wrote and provided monthly data input and performance reporting for grants received from various donors.
  • Assisted with creating and managing a $20,000,000+ Operating Budget and maintained detailed financial records associated with grant management
  • Worked with Development staff to plan and conduct fundraising events, as well as presented funding-related information to the Head of Office.
  • Having overall responsibility for the recruitment polices of the company and also the welfare of the staff. Also managing the information held on the HR database and personnel files to ensure it is updated in a timely and accurate manner. Ensuring that all procedures comply with the Data Protection Act.
