*Provided services includes 24/7 confidential assessments at no charge, Inpatient Hospitalization, Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Services for Adult and Older Adults. All services are multi-disciplinary and led by a Psychiatrist or Addictionologist.


*Bio-psychosocial Assessments-The intern fills out an assessment form that asks questions to the patients that deals with their medical conditions, their mental health conditions, their environment, and their support system

*Interviewed patients and gets information about what brought the patients to the hospital, their goals for treatment, the contact info of their primary care physician, psychiatrist\therapist, and contact info for their support system.

*Family sessions-The intern conducts a session involving a patient and support system to discuss plans aftercare goals for treatment, and feeling about discharge.

*Psych educational groups- The intern educates the patients on their illness and helping them obtain coping skills

*Treatment plan- The intern works alongside the interdisciplinary team and patients come up with treatments goals for patient

*Discharge planning-The intern plans and connects patients with resources outside the hospital that the patient can utilize after discharge.

*Expressive therapy- the intern creates and utilize activities that include drawing, movement, relaxation techniques, and recreation to stimulate the mind and promote good mental health

*Process group- the intern helps patients find out more about who they are and what they would like to change in their personal lives and relationships with others, and gain coping skills.

Trained to perform as micro and mezzo social worker for students who were 7 to 12 years old and their families under supervision of social work experts.

* Observed each student behavior during class time and then discussed the abnormalities later with their families to make initial diagnoses.

* Supported students with lower grades to increase their confidence and resolve underlying issues.

* Demonstrated the ability to support students and their families by providing advice and consultation.

* Encouraged students to engage in morning activities such as dancing, singing, or giving a speech and distributed motivational gifts to encourage participation in and out the class.

* Filled the gap between families and the school by preparing weekly meetings with students' mothers to address any issues related to education, or unusual behavior.

Served as micro and mezzo social worker for preschoolers who were less than 7 years old and their families under the observation of experienced social work clinical educator.

* Provided psychotherapy to those in need by collaborative efforts between the interns group as one team.

* Supervised and organized daily educational activities for preschoolers that emphasized the value of healthy habits, and community virtues.

* Assessed and treated most of children psychological short and long-term problems such as isolation, attention disorder, depression, violence.

* Offered phone consultation for the families.

* Led and represented social work interns in meetings with the kindergarten administration and students' families.

* Earned the director's recognition due to high performance in various activities such as celebrating most of Saudi Arabian community traditional occasions.

* Received “Excellent Performance Certificate” during this internship from the kindergarten administration, authorized by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Social Affairs.
