As an educator in Alaska for over ten years, he brings a heart for teaching and learning. He distinguished himself as an effective communicator and facilitator, able to take complex concepts and explain them in ways that make sense.
While working as a technology specialist with Nome Public Schools in Nome, Alaska, he was responsible for guiding a project to install and maintain the district's first high speed internet access. He negotiated a contract with Lucent Technologies and managed the project to install a wireless network connecting three separate buildings to a local ISP. 13 years later, this system is still providing broadband internet access for Nome Public Schools.
In 2002, Peter was recruited into an HRIS position with a large healthcare corporation in SW Florida - leading several projects including the rollout of a new digital ID badge system for all 6,500 employees and 10,000 volunteers, and the implementation of an applicant tracking system (Webhire). He was the principal in developing and facilitating training for all recruitment staff and hiring managers.
Since transitioning to Colorado in 2005, Peter has become a key player and leader in the development of HR training modules, creating visually stunning dashboards and scorecards, and always providing accurate and timely reporting in the HRIS arena.
