Over the course of his 10-plus years in car, snowmobile, and recreational power vehicle sales, Nolan Ferris has maintained a commitment to professional excellence and community stewardship, establishing himself as one of Upstate New York’s leading philanthropic figures. As founder and President of New York State PowerBoat, Nolan Ferris has spent the past five years building his organization into a recognized name in local philanthropy, hosting a wide variety of boating events to fund charities in and around Oswego County. With such popular races as Cabin Fever, the FireCracker Fun Run, and the annual Swamp Run, Nolan Ferris and New York State PowerBoat have raised more than $20,000 for the Central New York Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, along with $1,000 for the Sandy Pond Channel Maintenance Association. In addition, New York State PowerBoat and Nolan Ferris regularly give to the National Kidney Foundation as well as individual families in need. Aside from New York State PowerBoat, Mr. Ferris owns and operates West Monroe-based Gasoline Alley, where he sells more than 150, high-quality used snowmobiles and power-sports vehicles each year. At the helm of Gasoline Alley since 2009, Nolan Ferris offers a broad range of financing and credit options to meet individual requirements. Prior to the formation of these businesses, Mr. Ferris served as Manager at Car Creation of C.N.Y. and worked in a dual capacity as Night Ranger and Head Life Guard at Raquette Lake, a position of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation. A graduate of Canastota Junior/Senior High School, Nolan Ferris earned his Regents Diploma in 1995.
