I'd like to consider myself well versed in a number of things, especially when one takes a look at my educational experience. I started and completed a degree in hospitality business, but upon moving to Chicago I wanted to discover and develop my creative side and found myself studying film at DePaul University.
Although I am pursuing a Master's in Digital Cinema at DePaul University, I have discovered a great interest in portrait photography. I feel that it's important to have as much knowledge in the visual arts with stills as well as moving picture. With that being said:
- Most of my work up until this point is from location photography, scouting locations throughout the city can be very challenging but is fun.
- Since all of my background stems from location photography, one of my main goals is to gain experience in studio photography.
- I have some experience in promotional photography for local musicians, such as Carlo Navarro and Becky Johnson.
- Although I have some experience in using photoshop, I strive to get all of my photos right the first time around, rather than touching it up in post.
I guess I could say more, but I figure if my interest lies in the visual arts then why should the main focus be in my text? I invite you to take a look at some of my work, and if you like what you see then I would be happy to hear from you.
